Exhibition and piano recital

Grand Passion Pianos, 32 Newman Street, 18 Sept, 6pm

Grand Passion Pianos will present a London Design Festival concert which will feature the combination of digital artwork and a performance by a concert pianist. Registration is required for a complimentary ticket here.

Abstract Drawing Class with Lisa King

Sanderson Hotel, 50 Berners Street, 22 Sept, 10am – 1pm

Whether you’re experienced or a complete beginner, this class is designed to inspire and encourage your artistic expression. Lisa King will guide you through various abstract drawing techniques, helping you explore your imagination and create unique pieces of work. You will sit around a tablescape of flowers, objects and sculptors from the Sanderson’s art collection, from which to draw.

An exhibition of Two Halves

Heals, 196 Tottenham Court Road, 18 – 23 Sept, 10:30 am – 7 pm

Two exciting events are taking place at Heal’s. First, the collaboration with third year students from Kingston University’s Furniture & Product Design course, who showcase a shortlist of 10 pieces, exploring the process and stories behind the designs. The second exhibition celebrates a trio of iconic seating that has shaped our tastes over the last 70 years.

Terra Firma & Mound Collection

The Terra Firma installation is simultaneously complete and incomplete. It is complete insofar as it represents a culmination of past efforts and is a physical manifestation of those efforts. It is incomplete because it exists in a state of perpetual potentiality, one that can be added to, modified, and expanded upon in some way. The imperfections and unfinished aspects of the installation are an integral part of its nature: they reflect the ongoing process of exploration, experimentation, and discovery.

Lualdi Flagship Store

Lualdi, 50 Eastcastle Street, 21 Sept, 6:30pm – 9pm

Lualdi specialises in superior interior door design and high-end bespoke furniture in the residential and hospitality sectors, managed by the fourth family generation. In collaboration with Dezeen, Lualdi will host their London flagship launch party.  RSVP here

Calligaris turns 100

London Design Festival Art Walk
