We start by asking what is craft coffee? In this instance, craft stands for craftmanship and it refers to the pursuit of making the best coffee using the highest quality ingredients coupled with the best brewing method.
Leading the way with craft coffee in Fitzrovia is Kafi on Cleveland Street. We ask owner, Yatish what makes a good coffee, “Good Coffee for us is sustainable and traceable brewing by following steps including direct sourcing, buying local, reclaiming, recycling & paying living wages”. That ticks our boxes!
Of course, anything with a high level of craft often comes a higher price. One of the newest additions to the Fitzrovia coffee scene is Blank Street Coffee on Goodge Street which focuses on “offering amazing coffee at affordable prices, that’s convenient for everyone.”
