This year to celebrate the festive season, we have once again brought back the beautifully unique Christmas wrapping paper, inspired by Fitzrovia.
Designed by London based illustrator, Helen Unsworth, iconic landmarks throughout Fitzrovia were used to illustrate the area’s rich culture and heritage, you will find buildings such as the Fitzrovia Chapel, built in 1903, and the Fitzroy Tavern, a used-to-be meeting place for many of London’s artists, intellectuals and bohemians.
Dotted in-between the buildings, are Christmas motifs chosen by children from the Children’s Ward at the University College London Hospital. They told us what it is that makes Christmas special for them, which of course included Father Christmas, presents and twinkling Christmas lights.
All proceeds of donations from the paper will go to the Children’s Ward of UCLH, allowing members of staff to purchase home comforts for the children during their stay this Christmas.
The wrapping paper will be available from the week commencing 20 November at the following retailers;
